The English alphabet has 26 letters in it while the Roman alphabet only has 34 letters. Also in Roman times the alphabet was written in all capital letters.

The 'Julian Calendar' was presented to the Romans by, Julius Caesar. The calendar has 365 days, which are divided into 121 months and every four February's there is a leap year. Once a mistake was made and the calendar began to gain three days every four centuries. As of right now the Julian calender is 13 days behind the Gregorian calendar.
